While I continue to inform myself about the crypto world, my mission is simple. I want to pass on my research to others and explain things in easy to understand language. I use this ability as a freelance writer when I write for companies. I want to open up the possibilities of cryptocurrency to everyone.
There is no need to overcomplicate anything in life.
Bitcoin, Crypto, HODL, Altcoins…it all sounds like a foreign language if you’re not in the cryptocurrency world. It is certainly enough to put you off. If you want to get your head around some standard terms, this crypto glossary from CoinMarketCap is a great start.
You might have wanted to invest but don’t know where to begin. Or you might have given up, believing you’ve missed the proverbial bandwagon. Whatever your current situation is, don’t give up just yet.
There is still time to hop on board and enjoy the fun and a potential profit.
An important point to note early on is that you should only invest what you can afford to lose. Any form of investment has an element of risk to it. Plus, gambling your life savings in any venture is a high-risk nobody should do. But investing a small portion of your money is worth it if you can afford to lose it.
While I am no crypto expert, I am still sitting on a slight profit after investing for the 1st time earlier this year. Maths is not my thing and probably never will be. But if I can do it, so can you. The wise option with any investment is to do your research.
The crypto world might have that distinct alien vibe, but so did the internet when it first appeared on the scene.
You can spin it around by opening up your mind to the real possibilities of making some money for yourself. I was sceptical like you are right now reading this article. But when you start doing some actual research and find out more about it, the opportunities are genuine.
There are also a lot of horror stories, so be prepared to read them all.
You can take the time to understand the pros and cons before you start investing. Here is an excellent article from Forbes that details the best crypto exchanges out there. A lot of the crypto exchanges have some excellent video tutorials.
If you don’t feel comfortable pressing that button to start trading, read articles, watch videos and learn everything till you are ready.
Plus, it’s not all about money. Sure, we would all like to make some extra money on the side. But there are companies in this sphere that genuinely want to make a difference in the world. Check out Cardano and its work in Africa as an example.
